Colder temperatures have settled in across the Tuscarawas Valley, but they won’t stay long. Tuesday will bring a near-typical mid-December day with sunshine and slightly below normal highs around 38°/40°. Temperatures will be about 10° warmer on Wednesday thanks to a light south wind and afternoon sunshine.
Temperatures will approach 50° on Thursday but rain chances will also ramp up as a storm system approaches east-central Ohio from the south. Rain will be likely Thursday night and Friday as the system passes. Colder air invades the region Friday night which may bring some snow showers to the Valley into early Friday morning.
