I am not a big fan of these winter/summer outlooks. I think they’re kind of silly but it seems that a lot of folks like them. (The Old Farmer’s Almanac has capitalized on this fact for a loooong time.)
I will say, though, I have a lot more faith in NOAA’s work than I do with the commercial weather industry (The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, etc.)
In any event, and for what it’s worth, NOAA’s Winter outlook calls for a warmer and wetter than average winter for east-central Ohio.
