A spotty light shower will be possible at times today as a series of upper-level disturbances cross our area. Otherwise, we’re in for a cloudy day across the Valley with afternoon temperatures in the low-40s.
A changeover to a rain/snow mix is likely over the course of the afternoon as slightly colder air arrives. Snow showers will then become likely locally this evening and tonight. Snow accumulation locally will be light if at all. Some neighborhoods could see a dusting to a half-inch.
Scattered snow showers will continue overnight into Sunday morning. Total accumulation today through Sunday morning will be less than an inch.
Chances for snow showers will decrease Sunday afternoon and end Sunday night as the last upper-level ripple exits to the east. Cloudy but drier weather will arrive for Monday.
