Mainly clear skies will allow for slightly colder temperatures overnight into Friday morning. Patchy frost is a good possibility in our area on Friday morning. Currently, the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Frost Advisory that includes all of the Northeast Ohio Counties for tonight.
Although our area is not included in the current advisory, there is a good chance that patchy frost will develop early Friday morning in some spots. NWS in Pittsburgh discussed the potential of expanding the current advisory southward later today in their morning discussion.
Advisory or not, it would be good advice to protect any plants you might want to save. The current forecast indicates temperatures in the mid-30s early Friday. Temperatures can be slightly colder than the forecast at the surface.
