Although temperatures across the Valley started out warmer than average in November, cooler temperatures during the second half of the month were enough to bring the monthly average to about normal.
In the end, we were neither too hot nor too cold for the month as a whole.
November precipitation, however, totaled way wetter than average – enough so that this November came in as the second wettest November in recent years. The only wetter November occurred in 2010.
The greatest rain fell on November 18 when 3.08 inches fell at the New Philadelphia airport. Several unofficial neighborhood stations across the area chalked up 4 to 5 inches during the period.
That one day rain was enough to dump nearly an inch-and-a-half over our normal November rain.
Here are the remainder of November weather stats as recorded at Harry Clever Filed by the National Weather Service.
