Gusty thunderstorms possible late day Sunday

Low pressure crossing the Great Lakes will bring another day of rain to east-central Ohio today. There is a small window late this afternoon where instability will be high enough for a few strong thunderstorms. Some storms could produce gusty winds and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.

Small hail and/or graupel will also be possible.

The highest odds for any strong thunderstorm activity here in east-central Ohio will be between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

SIMULATED radar for this afternoon and tonight from the hi-res model:

Showers will gradually taper off tonight into Monday morning. Clouds will thin Monday afternoon and we will get into some spotty sunshine. Temperatures will remain in the upper 40s to around 50 in most locations.
