After a week of temperatures and humidity that reminded us of fall, weather conditions that feel more summerlike will return to the Valley this week. Temperatures will heat up to the upper 80s by mid week and we will see a few opportunities for showers and thunderstorms as well.
Warmer temperatures will not only become warmer, but moisture will also increase behind a warm front. By Wednesday it will be unseasonably humid locally.
A combination of those air temperatures in the upper 80s and dew points in the upper 60s, heat indices will reach the low 90s easily Wednesday through Friday.
A cold front will cross east-central Ohio over the weekend to bring a slight cooldown. Temperatures will remain above average, however. And, while dew points look to remain elevated somewhat, it will not be quite as humid Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures are forecast to remain above normal in the 6 to 10-day outlook.
