What does a Frost Advisory really mean?

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for our area for Saturday night into early Sunday morning. A frost advisory means that frost formation will be possible in some locations tonight.

The general threshold for frost formation is 36 degrees with favorable conditions. It’s important to note that not all areas within the advisory will actually see frost form, but the likelihood for frost in any location within the watch area is high.

The Advisory includes all counties in our area: Tuscarawas, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson, Muskingum, Guernsey, Belmont, Noble, Stark, Wayne, Holmes.
