The unseasonable cold weather broke two temperature records yesterday (11/12) at New Philadelphia. The temperature dipped to 17° before midnight which broke the low temperature record for the day. The previous record was 20° set in 1973.
We also recorded a record low temperature for the day’s high. The day’s high temperature of 34° was recorded at 1:14 AM. That tied the record for the lowest high temperature for the date set in 2013.
