Updated Ohio Drought Monitor for 9/10/2020

There remain a few areas across the state where dry conditions persist this week but the drought has been virtually eliminated in the east-central Ohio region – including the Tuscarawas Valley.

Recent rainfall, especially the rain that occurred on Monday, brought enough precipitation to erase the dry conditions we’ve had this summer. Our area is still running a little short on rain by about 3.5″ since June 1, however.
