Checking out a couple of systems coming down the pike

Posted Monday, January 25, 2021

Overall, it looks like a fairly quiet weather pattern for much of the rest of the week. After the system tonight and Tuesday, a minor system will slide south of the area Wednesday night through early Thursday. This little bump will bring low odds for a few snow showers to the Valley but not much of an impact.

EUROPEAN MODEL DEPICTION early Thursday morning.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday all look dry and uneventful. The next more significant system will potentially set up for Sunday into Monday. It’s still way too early for details at this time but it has the potential to bring winter weather impacts to the area. I’ll continue to keep watch on this system as it develops through the week.

Otherwise, seasonal temperatures look to prevail over the next 10 days or so.

Be safe out there.
