A shower or storm will be possible today mainly during the afternoon and evening as an upper-level disturbance rides through the region. Chances of getting wet today will be much lower than yesterday.
The atmosphere is pretty much worked over from last night’s activity and that will help keep the threat for anything strong well south and east of our area today. Still, we will need to keep a slight chance for afternoon thunder.
Otherwise, expect a mostly dry day across the Valley. It will be muggy again today but temperatures will not be quite as warm as they were yesterday. Most places will get to the low 80s for the afternoon high.
Tomorrow will bring yet another unsettled weather day. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will accompany a cold front. The good news is this system will bring a drastic change to the humidity for the weekend.
It looks like nice weekend weather coming up for the Valley. Sunshine, mild temperatures and much less humid conditions are expected Saturday and Sunday.
