The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh has issued a Wind Advisory in effect from 10:00 AM EST Wednesday until 7:00 AM EST Thursday for all of east-central Ohio.
The weather service said that our area can expect southwest winds 20 to 30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Winds of this magnitude for an extended period of time can result in down tree limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are likely in the Advisory area.
The Advisory area includes Tuscarawas County as well as all surrounding counties.
