Updated weekend forecast; Heavy rain possible early next week

High pressure will begin to build in a little sooner allowing for patchy clouds and intermittent sunshine. With a chilly northwest breeze, temperatures will remain a bit cold with afternoon highs around 30°

Temperatures will warm nicely on Sunday as winds shift out of the south. Afternoon highs Sunday should reach 50°.

NEXT WEEK
While the forecast for early next week is not locked in yet, several rounds of rain are expected Monday through Wednesday. And, there can be periods of heavy rainfall at times in some locations. The outlook will change over the next couple of days but the potential for 1+ inches of rain through midweek is possible.

Recent model runs have shifted the heaviest rainfall south of our area. I will continue to keeps tabs on this to determine any impacts this may have with regard to flooding in our area.
