Rounds of heavy rainfall will be possible locally over the next few days and the first round is expected to impact the Valley tonight. Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible tonight as widespread rain associated with a warm front moves through east-central Ohio.

Total rain through the period (tonight through Friday) can amount to 1. 50″ to 2.50″. Some minor flooding is possible.

Temperatures locally will warm to around 70° Thursday and Friday. However, a strong cold front will slide southeast through Ohio Friday afternoon/evening. (Exact timing needs to be worked out yet.) There is a “SMALL” risk for strong thunderstorms with this system.

Regardless of any thunder, gusty winds 30 – 35 mph will be possible at times on Friday.
Temperatures will be sharply colder on Saturday behind Friday’s front – on the order of 30° or so.
