The graphic included below shows a comparison between a number of computer models for snow amounts early Tuesday morning. None of these will be absolutely correct, but it does give you an idea of snow amounts you can expect as you head out in the morning.
This is centered on New Philadelphia, so your mileage will vary. Personally, I’d plan on at least a couple of inches on the ground in the morning. Look out for changeable weather conditions for the morning commute as well.
It’s important to note that this is for snowfall and not snow accumulation. Accumulation will vary across the area depending on surface type and temperature.
The bulk of the snow is expected to fall tonight into early Tuesday in our area. Snow showers will continue during the daylight hours tomorrow with additional accumulation. It should taper off Tuesday night as the system pulls away.
The farther north you must travel, the heavier the snow accumulation will become.
Be safe out there.
