Today is likely to be the warmest day of the week with daytime highs near 90°. But thankfully the humidity will remain in check.
While temperatures will moderate some through the work week it will become noticeably more humid.
The extra moisture in the air will bring daily opportunities for thunderstorms. Some storms could contain brief periods of moderate to heavy rainfall.
The thread for organized or strong to severe thunderstorms will remain in check due to the lack of lift. However, a strong thunderstorm at some point through the week can’t be completely ruled out.
The highest chances for thunderstorms to develop will be during the afternoon and early evening each day through Friday.
