Expect a much warmer and sunnier weekend in the Tuscarawas Valley for the weekend. Temperatures locally will warm to the mid-80s on Saturday, then top out in the upper-80s for Sunday. Skies will generally remain cloud-free so break out the shades and sunscreen.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if we see a few neighborhoods reach 90° on Sunday. The humidity will remain in check over the weekend but we will start to see dewpoints increase as we head into the new work week.
Temperatures look to remain warm next week – mainly in the mid to low-80s after peaking in the upper-80s to near 90° early in the week. Chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms will return for the second half of the week.
No severe weather is expected Friday through Monday.
