Generally speaking, count on a pretty wet day today as low pressure crosses eastern Ohio. There will be a few breaks in the steadiest rainfall, but the threat of rain is likely to linger through this evening. Simulated radar through 1:00 AM Friday:

After relatively calm winds this morning and afternoon, gusty winds are expected to return towards evening and continue overnight into Friday. Some gusts could be in the 20 to 30 mph range tonight and Friday.

HALLOWEEN
Many local communities have trick-or-treat Halloween evening. While a renegade light shower or drizzle can’t be completely ruled out Friday evening, the bulk of the steadiest rainfall will have exited off to the east. The wind, however, will continue to be breezy with temperatures hovering around 50° – give or take a couple of degrees.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK
Our forecast for the weekend has improved. Temperatures will still linger below climate averages, but at least we’ll get some decent sunshine. There is just a small chance of a shower courtesy of Lake Erie on Saturday.

Have a great day and be careful out there.
