Lake effect snow showers are possible at times through Saturday morning. Snow impacts will be much higher in areas along and north of I-80 – the primary and secondary snowbelt counties.
Temperatures locally are expected to remain cold over the next week. There is a potential for another system to bring wintry impacts toward the end of the weekend. The details need to be ironed out yet, but a rain/snow mix could be in our future.
