Severe thunderstorms will be a concern on Thursday afternoon in parts of the lower Ohio River Valley – mainly in Illinois, Indiana, and western Ohio. These are currently forecast weaken as they travel ENE and eastern Ohio late in the day.
A thunderstorm will be possible in our area on Thursday evening in a 7 PM – midnight window. While any storms that occur here on Thursday could contain gusty winds, the winds should be less than severe criteria (<58 mph).
Outside of any thunderstorms that may occur Thursday evening/night, scattered showers, some with moderate to brief heavy rainfall, will be likely as a warm front travels east across the east-central Ohio region.
