A clipper system will quickly travel across the Great Lakes region late tonight and bring a burst of snow showers to the Tuscarawas Valley.
Snowfall rates could be moderate to heavy for a short period in any one location. Temperatures during the period will be at or slightly above freezing, which will make this snow pretty wet and heavy. Grassy areas and untreated surfaces are more susceptible to accumulation. Untreated and less-traveled roads may see slushy accumulation in spots.
This will race through the area fairly quickly, and snow amounts will be minimal – around one-half to one inch.
Snowfall should end just before or shortly after daybreak on Wednesday morning. Temperatures on Wednesday will warm to the mid-40s, so most of this will melt away as the day progresses.
