Rain amounts overnight locally ran pretty much as expected, with a general inch or two reported from area backyard weather stations.
Rain chances will continue through the majority of the day as a warm front lifts through eastern Ohio this morning. Some afternoon instability could result in a rumble or two of thunder this afternoon/evening. A Flood Watch remains in effect for our area until 2:00 PM today.
Additional rain amounts of around an inch are expected through Memorial Day, although a general decrease in overall rain chances will be the trend Sunday and Monday.
