Heads Up: Another round of severe weather is possible on Tuesday

A significant storm system is tracking from the Pacific Northwest to the Great Lakes over the next 2 days. Although specific details are yet to be worked out, conditions will be favorable for severe thunderstorms in and around the east-central Ohio region on Tuesday.

As of Sunday AM, the NWS Storm Prediction Center indicates damaging wind as the primary threat, with large hail and tornadoes as secondary concerns.

The specifics will come into focus over the next 48 hours, so expect changes in how and where this plays out over the next couple of days. I will mention that it’s very unusual for the SPC to issue an Enhanced Risk in the Day 3 Outlook.
