Thursday will start out a little warmer than recent mornings and clouds will gradually increase through the afternoon. We will also see our chances for rain showers ramp up late in the day. Temperatures will be quite mild and most of the Valley should approach 50°.
Widespread steady rain moves in after sunset and rain will continue through the overnight hours. A brief dry period will be possible Friday afternoon, but otherwise, it will be a fairly wet and windy day. Temperatures will be cooler with afternoon highs near 44°.
Rain showers will transition to snow showers Friday night. Expect generally light accumulation through Saturday morning. Rain/snow showers will taper off and end by mid-morning and we may even get into a few peaks of sun in the afternoon.
Total rainfall over the period should run around one-half to one inch. Total snow accumulation Friday night into early Saturday morning will not amount to much more than a dusting to a half inch.
