Showers and thunderstorms will be likely Tuesday – mainly in the afternoon and evening. Widespread severe weather is not expected but a few thunderstorms tomorrow may contain strong gusty wind. The Storm Prediction Center has almost all of Ohio highlighted in the “Marginal Risk” (1/5) category for severe thunderstorms tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s storms are the result of a weak cold front that will cross the state. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to be a possibility Tuesday night and Wednesday before the front finally clears east-central Ohio Wednesday evening.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions overnight and have an update with local timing Tuesday morning.
