I’ve delayed the onset of showers until late tonight due to the fact that our cold front has slowed its eastward advancement. Today should remain rain-free and warm with increasing clouds as we go through the day. Expect an afternoon high in the mid-70s.
It will turn breezy this afternoon and continued breezy this evening as well. Southeast winds will shift to south tonight with the front. Gusts can be in the 20 to 25 mph range locally.
Rain early Tuesday morning could be moderate at times and should end locally by tomorrow afternoon. We’re still expecting rainfall totals of around a half to three-quarters of an inch.
After the rain departs Tuesday morning winds will remain gusty and temperatures won’t do much better than the low 60s. Clouds will gradually clear out and allow for sunshine to return.
