Sunday 02/04 Tuscarawas Valley Forecast Update

Quiet and dry for now but snow showers will return tonight with a crossing cold front. Some neighborhoods may see another inch to inch-and-a-half with the front as it crosses overnight.

Cold high pressure will build on Monday and bring us some afternoon sunshine. Despite the sun, temperatures won’t warm much more than the mid 20s for afternoon highs with wind chills staying in the mid to upper teens.

Chances for snow return on Tuesday and Wednesday with the next storm system tracking through the Ohio Valley.

A general one to three inches of snow is looking likely for the Valley with this system, but the tuning of expected snowfall will become more confident as we move into Tuesday with better model tracking.

Relatively warmer temperatures will arrive on Friday with a warm front with the current mainstream models suggesting the front hangs up over Lake Erie Friday night. Things go sour after Friday with no agreement solid enough to even suggest something to be confident in. Therefore, we will need to keep at least chances for precipitation going through the weekend.
