A cold front sliding through east-central Ohio brought desperately needed widespread rain to the Tuscarawas Valley on Thursday.

Generally speaking, most of our communities received anywhere from a quarter of an inch to about a half an inch of rain. Our next best chance of receiving additional rain will arrive with a second cold front that could bring another half-inch or so Friday night into Saturday.
Rain looks sparse for the rest of the weekend and into next week after this next round.
