Here is a sampling of area rain amounts over the last 24 hours. (Obviously, that 4.59″ reading is probably wonky.) It appears just about everyone got a good soaking.
The current wet pattern will be slow to exit the region, so we can expect to see additional periods of rain over the next few days. There is a potential for heavy rainfall on Wednesday.
