Details:...The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Ohio... Stillwater Creek At Uhrichsville affecting Tuscarawas County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stillwater Creek at Uhrichsville. * WHEN...From Sunday morning to late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Stillwater Creek comes out of its banks in several locations resulting in overflowing in poor drainage areas. Minor flooding of low lying areas begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 5.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 10.7 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.8 feet on 02/28/1936. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Details:* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following areas, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas and West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio and Wetzel. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain with localized amounts up to 3 inches is possible from showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
