As expected, the cold front last evening has allowed for temperatures to drop into the 30s. The snow showers this morning will decrease and end after lunch this afternoon, with nothing more than a candy coating in our area. High pressure will build in this evening and allow for some clearing before sunset.
Westerly winds will remain gusty throughout much of the day. They will begin to decrease during the afternoon and evening. It’ll remain breezy tonight, but the strongest gusts should decrease to around 20 mph or so by this evening.

High pressure will keep dry conditions locally tonight and Friday morning. Chances for light rain will increase Friday afternoon as the next system, a quick-hitting clipper, approaches.
Slightly warmer temperatures tomorrow afternoon will support precipitation, starting with light rain. The rain will transition to light snow showers as temperatures cool Friday evening and Friday night. Again, the higher sun angle and warm ground temperatures will limit accumulation to a dusting, mostly in grassy areas.

Any snow showers should exit the Tuscarawas Valley area by sunrise Saturday morning. Skies will gradually clear through the day on Saturday. Temperatures will remain chilly on Saturday, but warmer temperatures will begin to build into the area on Sunday.

Dry weather and gradually increasing temperatures are likely to continue into next week. By Tuesday, it will feel more like spring again as temperatures across the Valley warm into the 60s.
