We have certainly been blessed with some wonderful weather these last several days. And, fair weather will likely continue on Labor Day and Tuesday as well. Temperatures will generally run in the upper 70s to around 80° with practically no clouds to speak of through Monday.
This pristine weather will have some bumps come Wednesday, though. A cold front is set to travel through eastern Ohio during the mid-week period. As the front approaches, we’ll notice clouds increase as the afternoon progresses on Tuesday, although rain chances will remain slim at best.
Rain chances will increase on Wednesday, and rain becomes likely on Thursday as the front moves through the region. Thunder can’t be ruled out Thursday afternoon, but severe storms are unlikely. Rain amounts locally should run from a quarter to a half-inch through Friday morning, according to the NWS Weather Prediction Center.

The wind will pick up some on Thursday. Some gusts may run in the 30 to 35 mph range.
With the front behind our area, expect the coolest temperatures of the week on Friday.
