Low pressure crossing the Great Lakes region will drag a cold front through east-central Ohio on Monday. Modeling indicates limited moisture with this system but enough to bring a round of scattered light snow showers to the Valley mainly early Monday morning.
Light snow showers could arrive after midnight tonight but the best odds of any accumulating snow will occur around and after sunrise Monday as the cold front crosses the area.
Generally speaking, we’re looking at a dusting to half an inch of additional snow in our local area with this system. Snow showers will be scattered, so some of our local communities may not even see that.

Much colder arctic air will flow in behind the front, resulting in breezy conditions and falling temperatures during the daytime hours on Monday. Air temperatures will likely fall to the mid-20s with wind chill values in the low-teens by sunset tomorrow.
Breezy winds will continue into Tuesday morning. Single-digit temperatures and below-zero wind chills are likely Tuesday morning as you head out to work/school.

The cold temperatures will continue on Wednesday before we start to see some recovery as we head toward next weekend. The warmer air won’t last, though. Another blast of cold will follow.
